Website Updated

We've started the web site update and we could use your help. We'd like to add some images (short slide shows) that demonstrate the benefits of martial arts and AMAC. Thus we need pictures that demonstrate words such as:

Power, Flexibility, Balance/Coordination, Discipline, Self Defense, Confidence, Honor/Respect, Family Fun.

Please let the Master or John Feeney know if you have pictures we can use. Tang Soo!

Hall of Fame

It was announced Sunday at the tournament that Master Kaitlyn Saucier will be inducted into the Action Martial Arts Magazine's Hall of Fame. She will be receiving this award in Atlantic City, NJ. That will make three master belts from the Saucier family that will be in the Hall of Fame. Anyone wishing to go down to Atlantic City to attend this dinner see Master Ken Saucier.

Hall of Fame

On January 12, 2008 some masters from the Cheezic Tang Soo Do Federation were inducted into the Hall of Fame. Among those who received this honor was our Master Paula Saucier. She began her martial arts training in February 1988 and since then has attained the rank of Master Belt 5th Degree. Over the years she has done much in the federation, competed and won many awards, attended seminars and met many other martial artist in her travels. Among those that she has met are; Chuck Norris, Bill "Superfoot" Wallace, Jean Frenette (Canadian Champion), and Andrea Tippett (future Hall of Famer for the New England Patriots). She has been a major builder of AMAC over the years. She has helped to build all the programs that we now have in place, as well as has been and continues to be an inspiration to other women in the martial arts. Master Saucier competed in the federation tournaments against other master belts and won in weapons and forms competition. She was one of only two women who competed in this division against the men, the other woman who competed was her daughter Master Kaitlyn Saucier. While completing it was one of those two women who usually won first place. I would have to say we are very lucky indeed to have her as part of our school. Congratulations Master Paula Saucier on your huge accomplishment, I hope other women see what you have done and follow your example as to what a woman in the martial arts can do.

Photos

At AMAC we have a site for photos of everything that happens to us... gradings, tournaments, demos, gatherings of every kind... all sorts of things happen in our lives... I would like you to add photos that you may want to share online with us... anyone who would like to download their photos on our site for all to see may do so, in fact we encourage it... We like to see what is going on in your world as a student of AMAC... If your are interested in downloading photos, see Mrs. Leeder or myself and we will gladly tell you how you can do this...
